The former is his name’s Chinese transcription, and the latter is Japanese transcription. I choose to alias "Biantin" to "Viatin" because while there hasn’t been any English localization for this game (as far as I know), post #7271817 by his official artist - who is Chinese - spells his name as "Viatin", suggesting that is what his name would be translated into.
