create implication strikers_peach -> princess_peach
One more!
I reorganized the links on Princess Peach wiki according to current status. ( https://danbooru.donmai.us/wiki_page_versions/565251 )
Before I continue:
Is it correct?
Is it useful?
Is labeling official vs official but nameless vs fan useful?
I think so considering Winter Peach ≠ Princess Peach (Wintertime).

Baby Peach is actually just a young version of her, I guess covered under "aged down"
Apparently they come from time travel.
The whole baby lot is official.
IMO that justifies their tags, but they should imply their normal form, and aged down.
Wrong cases seem very unlikely for this.
Note: Some post featuring both are tagged dual persona, some not.
one of the things that I don't see people discuss that they kind of do in the games is that Paper Mario and Paper Peach and the other paper characters are separate people from the normal variants of Mario and Peach
They seem a separate drawing style, not design. Paper Peach matches the description of normal Peach etc.
Even some distinct designs like older SMB don't have a separate tag.
So people can just search princess_peach paper_mario, right?
Ah, looking at this result, Paper Mario seems more often given by context than style.

The golf costumes are formatted "character (golf)" in-game and official channels, not "golf character". We already have these two formatted correctly: Mario (Golf) and Luigi (Golf).
In the games, the (Golf) suffix is used for the costumes from Golf US Course/NES Open Tournament Golf. For those from Mario Golf: Super Rush, (Mario Golf: Super Rush) is used. For Danbooru, "Super Rush" is shorter and doesn't risk startling users into thinking that Princess Peach was in MGSR.
The "Tennis Daisy" and "Tennis Peach" tags currently do not refer to any of their tennis outfits from Mario's Tennis, Mario Tennis 64, or Mario Tennis Aces. They instead refer to their outfits from Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour.
I didn't include Imply BURs for the Tennis Aces tags for Daisy/Peach/Rosalina because the only difference between them and their previous Toadstool Tour/Ultra Smash ensembles are the addition of wristbands and a change in shoes and legwear (Rosalina gets sparkly leggings, huge W). Not sure if they warrant their own tag, as it's difficult to tell the outfits apart as those are the only differences. I tagged them separately, but can easily revert them to just TT/US if necessary.
Princess Daisy (Toadstool Tour) | Princess Daisy (Tennis Aces)
Princess Peach (Toadstool Tour) | Princess Peach (Tennis Aces)
Rosalina (Ultra Smash) | Rosalina (Tennis Aces)
The "Tennis Aces" outfit versions of Peach/Daisy/Rosalina getting their own tags is definitely not necessary, way too specific for what is essentially just spotting whether they are wearing the wristbands or not (most fanart don't even have the shoes visible or bother differentiating if drawn). The wiki entries of the main tags can instead be used to notify others of these slight differences.

Forgot to mention, technically this outfit was in Mario Tennis Open before Mario Golf World Tour, but almost all fanart of it is usually in the context of World Tour hence the copyright tagging (and Tennis Open didn't have a tag at the time). The only difference is that World Tour has the single white glove, but most fanart don't bother to draw it anyway. To get even more technical it actually first appeared in Mario Basketball 3on3 as an alternate unlockable outfit, but most people are unaware of that and associate it more with Golf/Tennis instead.
Yeah, this is why I meh'd it. I honestly don't see a point in these tags existing as they can easily be searched for by game. The same could not be said for the Mario Kart Tour alternate costumes and Peach's various Odysessy outfits, for example, which is why the tags were made. I think this is pretty overkill, personally.

Understood! I’ve retagged those outfits to the more general “Toadstool Tour” or “Ultra Smash” tags and will add notes on the minor differences in the wiki. I personally prefer those qualifiers, since they aren’t strictly tied to one sport.

Great catch! I appreciate the pedantry—it’s exactly the sort of detail that kicked off this entire cleanup (initially noticing that the ‘Tennis Daisy’ tag actually debuted in Toadstool Tour). I’ve updated the BUR to reflect the outfit’s true origin.

All valid points! Based on everyone’s feedback, I’ve cut down the aliases to the essentials.
The Tennis 64 and Mario’s Tennis outfits have been consolidated under the “Golf” tag, since the only real differences are slight changes to legwear, footwear, or a small “N” on Peach’s dress. Those details will be added to the wiki. This consolidation makes more sense than using a specific game title—these same outfits appear in multiple games.

Because these outfits can show up well outside of their original sports contexts, tagging them solely by a single game can be confusing. If someone just wants to find a certain outfit design, a dedicated tag is more convenient than searching multiple game tags.
Examples:
post #3131770: They’re wearing sweatbands, implying Tennis Aces, but the average user may not realize that.
post #2233785: This is Rosalina with a tennis racket and no sweatbands—Ultra Smash.

In these instances, there’s often no clear reference to a particular game. Having a single tag for the outfit helps users (and taggers) find or manage these images without juggling multiple tags or deep game-specific knowledge.
I’ve minimized the number of aliases and consolidated tags where the only differences were small details. Since many outfits appear in multiple games—and sometimes appear in fanart without explicit game references—having outfit-specific tags remains handy for both discoverability and clarity.

If there's an issue of some qualifiers being too game specific for the more common attires, leading to confusion, here's my idea for trying to make the qualifier more generic for those that are usually debut in the Golf/Tennis titles:
Princess_Peach_(classic_sports), Princess_Peach_(sports_classic) or Princess_Peach_(classic_golf/tennis)
(Official promotional images in the wiki can be used to show people the differences between each copyright)
Princess_Peach_(sports) (already has a currently underutilized tag, princess_peach_(summer_sports), but frankly think it's kind of poor due to the "summer" not really referring to anything)
Princess_Peach_(sports_dress)
Princess_Daisy_(classic_sports), Princess_Daisy_(sports_classic) or Princess_Daisy_(classic_golf/tennis)
Princess_Daisy_(sports)
Princess_Daisy_(sports_dress)
Rosalina_(sports)
