Why do we need to look for URL/ID/username separately?
No objections there, both ID and URL should probably just be pinned under username. My post might’ve been unclear on this since it kind of strayed from the topic's original purpose.

The weibo watermark isn't a third-party watermark by virtue of coming from a first-party source, and it is unique in its standardized and easily identifiable format (weibo logo + username in the same white font, size, and position on the image). Look through any page of weibo username and you'll easily get a feel for this. My rationale is that it feels redundant to have 2 separate tags for what is in 99% of cases a singular element that includes them both.

This alias "weibo_username -> weibo_watermark" is causing some tagging issues... post #8214119 for instance has a weibo username but not a weibo watermark (using username as a stopgap but that's a barely used tag...)

Yeah, I've observed something similar when uploading sometimes. I think it's safe to say all the uploaders who regularly upload from Weibo know what the Weibo watermark tag is for by now, so this can be safely unaliased and repurposed into a proper username tag. At least I think so. Let's see.
