The discussion about "your common (grid-type) smartphone camera viewfinder" started when I asked what is post #7080531 supposed to have. And it turns out the answer isn't necessarily clean to me.
I've been thinking about suggesting something like live preview (in accordance with Wikipedia) and even though we already have some similar tags, most notable being viewfinder, it's awfully inconsistent in my opinion.
I've found these tags:
- viewfinder - but this reminds me more of something like video/movie cameras have (post #6744883, post #6768707);
- fake phone screenshot - where plenty of recent posts seems to show exactly what you see when you open camera app on your phone (post #6594810), however this tag applies not only to that;
- cellphone display - no wiki and the situation is similar to the tag above (post #5042752);
- cellphone photo - which feels like people are mistagging this, since plenty of these aren't taking a picture per se or showing picture to someone else;
- see posts tagged viewfinder (fake_phone_screenshot or cellphone_display or cellphone_photo)
- broader search (not necessarily correct) (viewfinder or fake_phone_screenshot or cellphone_display or cellphone_photo)
- AI search (fake_phone_screenshot or cellphone_display or cellphone_photo) -viewfinder ai:viewfinder,>2%
- camera phone - I needed this to have it explained, while also read Wikipedia article, to actually understand that posts like post #6993464 aren't supposed to be tagged with this, because it shows modern smartphone and "camera phone is a pointless term to use when discussing modern mobile device market", or post #7054668 because it shows a smartphone screen (
cellphone_display
if you will).
Kind of separate but still connected to viewfinder is matter of post #7057039 where we might have "analog (semicircle) viewfinder" which was pointed out to me, but I didn't search for any similar posts yet.
