I am new to uploading here so there may be a simple answer to this but I cannot figure out what it is after having gone through the upload rules.
There is an image yande.re has (2 variants, actually - clothed and unclothed) which is not yet on this site. The original artist has never, as far as I can tell, released it on a public platform like Pixiv or Twitter - but their Twitter does have a cropped version of the clothed variant. The fact that it was cropped and not released in its uncropped entirety makes me suspect the uncropped version may be a paid reward or otherwise a scan of licensed content (like an illustration book), but there's nothing in the content of the uncropped image itself that proves this (e.g. a footer at the bottom with commentary or page numbers). Reverse image search via both Google and iqdb suggest than yande.re is the only source of the uncropped version, and they themselves do not cite a source for it.
Since the copyright status is uncertain (character is also unknown by the way, I think it's an original character?), is it kosher to upload the cropped version from yande.re, or should I stick to uploading the cropped version directly from the artist's Twitter?
