Needs to be something that defines what is old, otherwise it is too relative based one what generation a person was born. As a person who grew up at the end of the CRT era if you asked me what an "old tv" was, I'd say it'd be one with dials and an oversized case relative to the screen. You ask my nephew who grew up in the era after CRTs, and he'd describe anything with a CRT in it as an "old tv."
There isn't anything older than the CRT, that is the only kind of television that existed prior to the "flat screen" era. If it's shaped like a box, whether it has buttons, dials, knobs, or a tiny screen, it is a CRT television. They are all old, though the oldest ones are usually labeled "vintage" TVs.
