Common Japanese term.
Though alias to personification instead could also make sense.

If it could be either/or, then neither alias would work.

It was previously aliased to personification and was removed alongside other similar aliases in forum #221033.
Aliasing it to personification would be the thing that makes most sense imo, for consistency.

This is most for two reasons:

Gijinka is commonly used for Pokémon, who are humanization and personification depending on the 'mon.

Humanization and personification are used almost interchangeably despite the wikis. This has been a problem for years and I've proposed aliasing them together (on discord) but a vast majority were against it (at least two years ago they were). However, there is very little will to garden the two tags.
