Is sky_background a thing?

There's a small tag (109 posts currently) called sky_background which seems like it's either deprecated or ignored by the majority. A huge amount of pictures have sky as a background, yet only a handful of them indicate that in the tags. Should this tag be nuked or is it worthy of some further development?

I think it should be deprecated for sure or aliased into the main tag (sky). Because most of the time, the sky used to serve as the background of a subject or scenery. Feel free to take action upon sky background by making a BUR here.

Alright then. My main source of hesitation was that the wiki states: "Use this tag if the sky is used as a focal point or the actual subject." But then I looked in the posts aaand they all ignore this line, so... here

By the way, how often do people here approve BURs?..

Not sure, while only admins who can approve or reject them. Several BURs (especially tag related ones) are left without any actions taken after 45 days, so automatically be rejected by the bot. But autorejected ones have chance of being handled again by them.

But autorejected ones have chance of being handled again by them. Usually BURs which are character or copyright name related are getting handled faster, especially in order disambiguate them.

There are almost 200 pending BURs. Just wait, eventually this will be checked, even if it gets automatically rejected.
