Both are the same species. Definitions seem to differ by region, but generally cantaloupe is seen as a variety of muskmelon.
In terms of Danbooru though, most of the posts are what would be called a cantaloupe, specifically Yubari melon with the T-shaped stem when it comes to Japanese art. And it's probably the more frequently used term of the two.
