I'm not sure what else to tell you. This tradition is not likely to change. You are welcome to go at it in the Discord, but I don't think I'll partake.

As the others have said, I don't think it makes much sense for us to use names that were only picked because of obvious legal concerns and in a very inconsistent way, over the original names and the names that the community widely uses. It's like the old artoria vs altria debate.

As I've said before, regardless of the reasons, they are the names that were chosen by the MICA devs themselves. It doesn't make much sense to continue to use names that mostly has to be translated into English when they have gave us the names for the English version of the game.

Not every one of them is for legal reasons. Even if it's for the legal reasons, it's still a valid name they chose to use.
A majority of the HK series has some changes and/or uses the Gr for legal reasons. Some of them just had name changes like the Japanese Type series. Some of them are just another name or the proper name.
