The overwhelming majority of pictures using this tag are already deleted, there are a grand total of 28 active ones, and it would be borderline impossible to apply with any consistency on an anime site even if it did apply to a real ethnicity, which it doesn't.

It was not even me who created the tag. Fine, but why not deprecating it first? For the sake of nuking ethnicity related-tags, how about Asian? Which I assumed to be vague because not all Asians are exclusively East Asians and most anime characters are canonically Asian. Should we do the same thing upon it? Real men would have responded.

I would support a deprecation alongside a nuke.
