It's hard for me to find some good examples, but here are at least a few.
In this, it wouldn't be a case of "Digging Your Own Grave", but more of a case of a character wanting something and getting more than they bargained for.
Should there be a pool for stuff like this? Does one already exist that I don't know about?
I don't have any strong opinions against such a pool, but I don't feel any of the given examples would fit in it. "Be careful what you wish for" usually implies consequences or regrets, which the example posts don't really demonstrate. The third is the most fitting, in a "getting more than you bargained for" sense.

I suppose "Getting more than you bargained for" is more appropriate.
So how would this pool be defined when it comes to people getting fucked by their wishes? Like, for example, let's take a guy who is married to a woman who is an absolute hag when it comes to her looks. He finds a magic lamp and then asks a genie, "I wish my wife was the most beautiful woman in the world." Which one of the following scenarios would fall under this pool?
1. Genie kills the dude's current wife and has the world's prettiest woman fall for him.
2. Genie transforms the dude's current wife into the most beautiful woman in the world, and she leaves him for 11/10 Gigachad MacThunderCock who is also a billionaire.
3. Rather than improving the dude's wife's looks, the genie instead makes every other woman in the world even more hideous than his wife.

All three sounds like they could fit, maybe a more generic "Not exactly what I wished for" pool?
They sound like a mix of Be Careful What You Wish For and Jackass Genie.

The 2nd one is 100% "be careful what you wish for", he got exactly what he wanted, and it backfired on him. The other two are more "that's not what I meant" but I'd still be fine including them in such a pool, since being specific about what you want is another part of being careful.

There might not be enough cases to justify being more specific.
