Holostars and hololive are under the same company but are largely treated as separate entities. It's only recently where the stars have started showing up in company promotional art and events alongside the girls, but it hasn't resulted in any increased interaction besides the few EN/ID girls who regularly interacted with them beforehand.
I don't think bunching them under hololive is a good idea, and there really isn't a need for a blanket Cover Corp tag featuring both groups either

Ah, I didn't realize they were under separate groups. Is Hololive also the name of the corp, or...?

The main company is Cover Corp, with the vtuber activities managed under Hololive Production, hololive and holostars being two different holopro projects. The now-closed Inonaka Music was another technically separate project under holopro as well before it was canned.
