As I mentioned in the post, this is a rare case where I actually wanted to get involved. I get petty insults, but it's kinda crossing the line when people are going after me specifically in a post that isn't even about me. I don't think I'll ever get involved with something like this again, but damn.

It was insulting, what are you talking about? They called me annoying, said I was annoying to talk to, etc. And don't tell me to get thicker skin, again, I have seen worse. Telling me that won't change a thing.
Please remove it, I'm humiliated by it.

They didn’t attack you personally and instead pointed out a certain behavior and gave comprehensible reasons why they consider it obnoxious. That’s not an insult in my book.
It seems to me you have a hard time taking criticism. Just because someone directly critized you, or they way you approach the subject and answer comments, that doesn't necessarily mean they were being rude or harassing you. Of course, they couldn't possibly know about your personal life, but well, this is the internet and we are all anonymous here, and as kittey said, a heated discussion about a controversial matter...
I suggest you take the criticism and learn with it (maybe to better express your points) or simply don't participate at all in discussions like these.

I'm fine with criticism. Someone calling me annoying, on the other hand... on a post not even about me, instead of taking it to messages...
And I was agreeing with them. Not disagreeing. So calling it a controversial thing isn't fitting.

Could they not just go to my messages and talk to me there? It's only worsened by random people upvoting them, it's digging the knife in the wound.
