My statement still applies to Senji Muramasa/Shirou. It's the same character.
The deimplication makes sense, Muramasa has an ascension (post #5029504) where he looks more like Archer than Shirou. By that logic we should also make Archer imply Shirou. Technically, Angra Mainyu's design is also based on Shirou, but let's ignore that for now.

Shouldn't there be an extra/new character tag, if he looks completely different from his main form?
Tagging ascension outfits has been discussed many times, notably in forum #17300, but in the end nothing came out of it.
I've noticed that Benit149 has been making tags for ascensions that look different enough (like antonio salieri (second_ascension) (fate) etc), but a man can only do so much.
Now that we finally have costumes as character tags, things will fall in place with time and enough gardening.

Indeed. It's going to take a very, very long time though, especially with the more popular characters. Those are the ones I'm tackling for now, but Jeanne d'Arc Alter is proving to be quite an insurmountable challenge. In any case, yes, I'm only doing chartags for Ascensions that are visually distinct. When I get around to gardening Senji Muramasa, his Second and Third Ascensions will certainly get tags. The biggest headache with this Pseudo-Servant business is whether or not they should be implicated to Muramasa or Shirou. That's why I asked for the deimplication - then it would be Muramasa that they'd imply to since he'd be separate from Shirou. With what we have at the moment, it would be Shirou.
I'm not against it, but I have some concerns about tagging ascensions. It's good for sorting through pictures of a certain character as an user, but is gardening them going to be effective? Next people might want to create chartags for other games with ascension-like systems based on this, starting other complex discussions and tag hierarchies. In Koyanskaya's case it was an interesting way of working with Koyanskaya of Light and Koyanskaya of Darkness, even though it wasn't the intended purpose.
EDIT about Illya, Sakura and Shirou implications, ignoring the discussion about tagging ascensions: Before creating this account and becoming active on Danbooru, I had an issue searching for Type-Moon copyrights like Fate/Stay Night and finding Fate/Grand Order illustrations in between or something else instead. The people who used to tag every single copyright a character appeared to non-ambiguous posts don't do it anymore and I remove or add tags here and there.
This feels the same, but with characters. I wouldn't like to see all the Sakurafaces mixed with Matou Sakura results, but I don't mind Manannan Mac Lir with Bazett Fraga Mcremitz or Lord El-Melloi II with Waver Velvet, for example (Plus I can filter the latter as a member). If you really want to create a consistent tree of character implications due to their character design, a catch all tag such as Medusa and Artoria Pendragon is a better option in my humble opinion.

Then how we manage adding yet another level to the tree of implications?
there'll be 3 tags for a single character and it breaks the flat hierarchy
All of the implications I've been drafting in a separate Word document maintain the flat hierarchy (and it's an absurdly huge list, but that's besides the point). The latter two chartags would just have to be added manually, even if they both imply the same umbrella chartag.
