What's the difference between a nightcap and a santa_hat? I ask because they appear to be visually indistinguishable (especially that fur-trimmed one Doremy Sweet has) and because the synonymous stocking_cap is already aliased to santa_hat.

I'd argue it's the material of the white part around the head. The nightcap is usually a flat material like post #5107318 while santa hats usually have a wooly texture like post #5102350
