alias hands_above_head -> arms_up

create alias hands_above_head -> arms_up

hands up stays that arms up should be used for when the hands are above eye level. Logically, hands above head fits that criteria. Also, this tag is undistinguishable from arms up right now, so it makes no sense to me to have two tags for the same exact thing.

Obviously hands above head does not apply to characters holding disembodied heads at a lower level, so it should be fine.

Previously discussed in topic #14824, which died because of an argument over using an update instead of an alias.

I generally agree with this, but should there be a tag for images where the hand is hovering over the head, if there is none? Tbh I thought hands above head was used like that, but looking at the tag people use it for every kind of arms up.

You mean stuff like post #4737438? arms above head is aliased to arms up, so it seems we don't have a specific tag just for hands specifically above the top of the head.

The alternative is to make hands above head specifically for that, and imply it to arms up, but I'm not sure how well it'll be used.

post #2810478 is still an example of an image with hands above the head that does not qualify as arms up. Just like it was last time this came up in topic #14824.

Isn't that really hands behind head (I guess aliased to arms behind head) though, but where the back of the head just so happens to be up here due to her putting her face down?

If anything I feel this makes the hands behind head -> arms behind head alias look more questionable than hands above head -> arms up.

I think that post is more of a technicality. I mean, yes, technically the hands are above the head, but I wouldn't add that tag to that post, because the character is bent over and the hands are actually behind/clutching her head.

The post isn't even tagged with hands above head, but with hands on own head. There's similar posts in the latter tag, and yet hands_above_head hands_on_own_head only has three results.

There are a lot of arms_up posts where hands are not above a head, post #4743218, post#4742069. In particular arms_up hands_behind_head seems to be quite common if rarely tagged correctly, post #4744657, post #4737726.
