Eye_mask ambiguity

The eye mask wiki appears to describe a domino mask. But it also gets used for blindfolds (Especially GI's Mirror Maiden) and sleep masks (because people call those "eye masks" too). So... any suggestions on how to disambiguate this?

Eye mask examples need to be moved under the corresponding domino_mask/blindfold/sleep_mask/etc. tags. But I don't know what to do with eye mask after this. Nuke and leave as an ambiguous tag with a disambiguation page on its wiki? Or aliased to one of the above tags?

Well, it's not all domino_masks, is there another name for Zorro-y eye masks that go around the head, like what Brycen, Haneyama_Kazuho or Rainbow_Mika wears? Just tag it mask and call it a day? Toss 'em all under domino_mask even if they're not domino masks, like what happens with Rainbow Mika?

I think leaving eye mask as a tag that's implicated to others like mouth mask (to surgical mask and ninja mask) is an option. You never know when we'll get another popular eye mask, and it's the easiest tag to find for these types of things, which then makes them easier to garden.

I agree that it is ambiguous but I can see value in it too.
As for stuff like sleep mask being frequently tagged eye mask. maybe we can create aliases to solve these problems like we do with male_X tags.

Example:

Create alias eye_mask_(sleep) -> sleep_mask

You can remove all ambiguous masks and make the tag an alias. If some type of mask without a tag is popular, then think about a new tag.
Consider create the tag "mask_over_eyes" tag, which will include all other eye masks, but not including mask_over_one_eye (post #4715657 similar with post #4711037, but without the tag). The new tag would be used in conjunction with other types that could cover the entire face or just the eyes. Example, masquerade_mask -> "mask_over_eyes". The presence of a new tag will allow to search for masks for the whole face (in most cases).

From wikipedia, under domino mask:
"The mask is popular in superhero comics, where it is often worn by costumed heroes and villains, or by earlier hero tropes such as Zorro, The Lone Ranger, Robin the Boy Wonder and the Green Hornet."

So I think the distinction is either nonexistent or small enough that nobody really cares. I'd lump them all under domino.

Bumping to add my confusion over the distinction on how the eye mask tag is used. From what I'm seeing eye mask is being used for domino masks, sleep masks, and blindfolds. And then you have post #5665941 where that's definitely not a domino mask. Maybe an alias or implication should be done to clear things up?
