If you write wikis a lot, qualifiers can rapidly get very annoying when you don't expect them (either because they are unnecessary or inconsistent. Or both). Also often results in more typing either way.
Also, IIRC, think alias/rename BURs can sometimes break wikis despite the system being supposed to handle the renaming automatically? So mass BURs tend to get a lot of pushback against if they are viewed as unnecessary, especially for older copyrights.
Personally I tend to err on the side of "over-qualifying" names and other tags when I create new tags, but ironically at the same time for proposed BURs to include qualifiers for older tags... I also tend to be 'conservative' and not be overly supportive of changes of such changes if they have been hanging around for a while without causing any issues. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it," basically.
