We're really shooting ourselves in the foot with the noun_verbing rule here.
We have facepaint, facial mark, face painting and paint on face.
face painting is actually for actively painting/writing/drawing on a face. I think here it should be separated into drawing on another's face and drawing on own face, similar to how we've moved tags like hair grab before.
I'll split drawing_on_another's_face and drawing_on_own_face apart if this request is approved. I'm not doing it right away but instead submitting a BUR because I want to hear other people's opinions first.
I propose on_own/on_another's because this makes it clear that it's not a presence tag (ie, a drawing present on someone's cheek), but a tag for the act of drawing on someone or one own's face.
paint on face is for paint splatters or smears on the face, not for intentional facial marks.
Facepaint and facial mark are often the same thing, but I'm not ready yet to figure out how to sort those.
