Choking tag

Should choking just be aliased to strangling at this point and make a more specific-sounding tag for the case of choking on food? I started manually fixing mistagged posts but then I realized virtually every choking post for the first 5 pages is mistagged and intermittently for the rest.

Choking can apply to non-food objects as well so making something food-specific would be insufficient.

I didn't really mean specifically for food but just for what's supposed to be the usage according to the wiki, something like choking_on_object. Clearly loads of people aren't bothering to read the wiki and just keep slapping it on the far more common strangling posts.

I agree that choking is unsustainable as a tag, nobody reads wikis so it will keep being mistagged so long as it keeps that name. choking_on_object is better than the status quo.

Shouldn't choking itself be changed to a disambiguation tag, or an umbrella or whatever? I somehow doubt most people searching for "choking" want to be directed to choking_on_object.
