I wonder if a pool for these would be necessary or useful, because of the following reasons:
- It seems like these eight were a collaboration between two people in less than 5 days (May 20th to 25th, 2012).
- There's a consistency among them all, despite all eight being uploaded in different Pixiv posts. Not directly tagged as responses to each other, though.
- The order they were uploaded to Danbooru is different to both the original order the artists uploaded them to their respective Pixiv accounts.
- Look at them the way they are ordered above. Don't they look like a rainbow? I believe it would be nice or cute to order them in a rainbow pattern in a new pool.
Since the artists themselves didn't give a particular name to such a pool, I would propose either something like Touhou Rainbow Liquefaction (from the tag common to them all in Pixiv: 東方液状化) or Touhou Slimy Rainbow, or something like that, we can still come up with better names. Not sure how could the name could go according to the howto:pools guidelines though. Maybe something like "Touhou - Rainbow Liquefaction (Safurantora & Meganemausu"?
Cons would be:
- Users can just write touhou slimification in the search bar and find them fairly easily (though not in any particular order).
- It would be yet another Touhou fanwork stuff pool.
- Not explicited at any point by the artists that they were making a collaboration at any point.
- Absence of an explicit response among images when uploaded in Pixiv.
- The original order they were uploaded on in Pixiv is different to the rainbow order proposed above.
If approved, I would propose it to be a closed pool to avoid mistagging from future uploaders and other similar concepts, and to keep the rainbow aesthetic (maybe only adding post #3761822 despite being uploaded to Pixiv 2 years later and here a year ago, but made by one of the same artists).
I understand there are plenty of useless pools already, thus I'm asking here for feedback before doing an unwanted action.
