Uncensored and parent/child posts

Most artists upload their works to multiple websites, and often those different sites have differing rules on censorship. By which I mean pixiv requires censorship while twitter, newgrounds, hentaifoundry, and pretty much every other site doesn't.

With the reason that censorship sucks, uncensored versions should be preferred, and should be considered the "best" for the purpose of parent-child relationships, but this is not even mentioned on the help page. I think it should be prioritized somewhere probably below Unsampled and definitely above Most lossless file format.

Hm. If one post is censored and the other is not then they are not actually identical. Assuming that the artist made both the uncensored and the censored post, the uncensored one would be the "most original" and the censored one ¿derivative?.

If you do see the duplicate tag on a censored/uncensored couple please remove it. If there are multiple censored posts with an uncensored parent please change the parenting so that the actual duplicates are parented in one stack (I hope that made sense).

Not sure where duplicates came from, why are you bringing that up?

Wouldn't those users just blacklist spread pussy then? Making their opinions on the matter moot. That's not really any argument in favor of censorship as much as one against "explicity".

If the artist uploaded their uncensored version, then yeah, it should be the parent. But it should also be made clear that a decensoring edit done by a third party definitely should NOT be the parent.

All decensored posts should have the original as its parent.
