kris_(sword) => keris

keris is the native name for the weapon, having both tags is needless

Wikipedia notes though that "the spelling of 'kris' is more frequently used in the West, but 'keris' is more popular used in the dagger's native lands." This seems to be reinforced that the "keris" spelling outside of wikipedia and wiktionary will not turn up any results for the weapon in English dictionaries, while the "kris" spelling will. Also the wikipedia page itself uses "kris" as the main name.

Given that, it might be better using kris_(weapon) instead of keris or kris_(sword). One, because to Westerners it would be more recognizable and two, the qualifier helps to reinforce what the tag is for (and it's defined as a dagger, not a sword).

Although it is technically the native spelling, I've never seen the spelling used outside of academic material or raw translations in broken English. And the former wasn't "in a sentence", but usually in footnotes.

It may be technically correct, but it's more obscure.

the main point of my rquest was so that there won't be two tags, i'm not particularly bothered which one is kept

The bulk update request #4973 (forum #182517) has been rejected by @NWF_Renim.

Given how few posts are involved with these tags, I've manually migrated them to kris_(weapon).
