ink_pen -> fountain_pen

-1. All pens are "ink pens" because all pens use ink. Furthermore what is under the tag is horribly all over the place and covers every type of pen.

I think the easiest tells between a dip pen or a fountain pen is dip pens need to regularly return to an inkwell (or ink bottle) so if an inkwell is present the odds are best it is a dip pen. Fountain pens have a reservoir of ink internally and so only needs to return to an inkwell (if they have the proper mechanism in them for this) to draw in ink into their reservoir. Furthermore between a dip pen and a fountain pen, if it has a pen cap (especially with a clip) then it's most likely a fountain pen.

edit: In general usage today, you'll see dip pens used more so by artists and fountain pens used for writing (most notably for signing).

Thanks. Should the tag ink_pen be ambiguous?

If all pens are ink pens, then I'm in favor of aliasing it to pen, though people are inclined to tag ink_pen on non-generic looking pens like fountain pens so it might be an annoyance to them unless they know to tag the specific pen type.

There is apparently a nib_pen_(object) tag as well. It might be worthwhile lumping non-quill dip pens and fountain pens together under this tag instead of separating them.

The current wiki descriptions arranges the various pens in this order:

Going by wikipedia though Dip Pen is the same thing as Nib Pen and doesn't include quills. If we're going to be using our own definition for the meaning of a term, I'd rather Nib Pen be used to refer to any pen that uses a metal nib. The ordering would make a more logical sense in terms of visuals.

Though I'd honestly think we should just use Nib Pen without subtags like Fountain Pen, because most people won't be able to tell the difference and will only be classifying these pens because they use a nib.
