Previously discussed in topic #7554 9 years ago, but I don't agree with their conclusion. There's a wide variety of beard styles, and goatee is one of them.

I don't know about the definitions but I tend to associate beard with full beards only.
If we're really reworking the tags to fit the dictionary definiton then there needs to be a full beard tag to distinguish it.

Man, the facial hair tags are really simplified compared to most other tags huh...

While goatee is technically a beard, in general usage I wouldn't use the term beard to refer to a goatee and I wouldn't want to find goatees when looking for beard images. -1.

If the BUR is approved, mustache should be implied to beard too I guess.
After checking the english use of the word beard I take it back.
