Basing this off of the search frequency in Google Trends, not many people search for "thighhighs" compared to "thigh highs".

As I understand it, although "thigh highs" is usual in mainstream fashion, "thighhighs" is used coloquially, especially in anime/manga/hentai subcultures.

I would agree that inside the anime community, "thighhighs" is probably the more common spelling. I don't think it's worth the churn of such a minor change for such a large tag.

The bulk update request #4300 (forum #178062) has been rejected by @evazion.
