A few final updates:

• The Winter Sale will end in about 11 hours, at midnight UTC time.

Not really appreciating the increasingly naggy banner. I'm already a Gold member and I don't really like having an ad shoved in my face every time I revisit Danbooru, regardless of how often I dismiss it.

It's supposed to show every 24h. I don't think this is working right, though, because I'm reasonably sure I've hidden it up to a couple times a day. You won't have to worry about it for much longer either way.

It was set for once per day for the first 6 days, then 3 times in the final 12 hours. You shouldn't have seen it more than that unless you were blocking cookies, or using multiple devices or incognito mode. I don't think this is an unreasonable amount, but I'll keep it in mind for next time. It was also to let everyone know they had unlimited searches during this period too.

The winter sale is over. The promotion has ended and search limits are back to normal (2 tags per search for members, 6 tags per search for gold, 12 for platinum and above).

Part of this was an experiment to see what would happen if we raised search limits. I'm going to look at the results and consider adjusting these numbers in the future.
