Animal Crossing: personification -> humanization

Posted under General

Doubutsu no mori furry characters depicted as kemonomimi, with animal ears and tails but with no fur and normal (by which I mean anime) facial shape, are split between personification and humanization. Based on the respective wiki pages, and the precedent set by @nonamethanks retagging everything Zootopia on 2018-06-16, all of the relevant Animal Crossing images should be updated to humanization.

However, I'll wait until bulk update request #3863 goes through before making the request to avoid potential confusion.

-1 to a blanket retagging. Some of the characters, particularly bird characters, would more appropriately be considered personifications than humanizations. post #2953148 is a good example of one of those characters, there really isn't enough humanoid characteristics in the original form to call it humanization.

I agree with this, that character is pretty much just a bird, humanization wouldn't fit.

It doesn't make sense to tag some characters as humanization and others as personification based on the character, that seems overly subjective. Remember that people might actually use these tags to search. I'd say in this case, a tiny bit of inconsistency with the wikis is far better than a huge amount of inconsistency with the series.
