angel_wings are wings of an angel.
Non-angel characters can use feathered_wings tag instead.

Would you call post #2417232 an angel? Or the fallen angels with horns and no halos but black angel wings?

The angel_wings tag is ill-defined and probably gets overused a bit, but it definitely isn't just a tag for angels. The suggestion to use feathered_wings instead is just wrong, because a lot of "angel wings" lack visible feathers.
