Pectorals and chest renaming

BUR #3506 has been approved by @evazion.

rename chest -> pectorals
rename bare_chest -> bare_pecs
create implication pectoral_focus -> pectorals

As discussed in topic #17337 and topic #17323

Things to do if this BUR goes through:

• I will manually fix the pectoral_focus posts so it can reflect its new definition (like breast_focus). Edit: Already working on it.
• Possibly create chest as a disambiguation page for breasts, pectorals, treasure chests, and whatever other types of chests there are (suggestion by blindVigil)
• We can just rename it to Bare_pecs to solve the naming problem. The tag is useful and distinct from shirtless.

There should be no other male specific “chest” tags.

Bare chest is the male equivalent of breasts outside. It is for when a male character's chest is bare, but they don't qualify as shirtless, which requires they be completely nude from the waist up. Proper examples include post #4099615 post #4089910 post #4093067 post #2055150 post #2481142

There's no reliable way to find these things without bare chest. It probably needs to be cleaned up, and maybe renamed(bare pecs?), but it's just as useful as breasts outside.

I support everything else in the OP, though.

Thank you. That made it much more clear to me especially since the wiki states the female equivalent is topless. I can see that it's a very useful tag now. I wonder why I never used it when it applies to so many of my uploads.

I also like the idea of just a name change. That'll fix the chest ambiguity problem. We could even alias bare chest to it if necessary.

If I'm not mistaken, characters like Giorno Giovanna and Aragami Ouga are commonly depicted with bare chest.

Yeah, the wiki for bare chest is really awkwardly written, I dunno why it says topless is the female counterpart. It's definitely supposed to be a male equivalent of breasts outside, but I had to read it multiple times to figure that out.

I just found the head on chest tag. It's almost a decade old tag.
Is it supposed to be gender neutral or not? If not it could use a renaming, and if it is then we could potentially add it to the suggested chest disambiguation page.

So it is time to talk about this again.

I'm thinking of removing the "rename pectorals -> pectoral_focus" bit and adding pectoral focus tag to appropriate uploads instead. That should be a quicker gardening process.

+1 for having chest be a disambiguation page for all chests and having bare chest -> bare pecs since usually the pecs are visible for the chest.
There are pictures of pecs without having focus on them, so removing that rename is good.
Should probably also imply bare pecs -> pecs then too.

For now I removed the first rename. Will wait to add more to it after this is settled since this is the biggest change.

I don't think chest and pectorals are exactly the same. Non-muscular males, for example otoko no ko characters, can be bare chested but not have noticeable pectoral muscles. So this may need some cleanup. But that said I don't think we need two tags here.

Bare pecs isn't a very intuitive name. Bare chest is a common phrase in English, but bare pecs isn't. It's not something many people would think to search for if they didn't already know about the tag. But bare chest was an ambiguous tag and could easily be confused with shirtless or topless, so it wasn't the greatest name either.
