BUR #3410 has been rejected.
create alias caiman_(dorohedoro) -> kaiman_(dorohedoro)
It is the spelling everyone uses. I realized it when I couldn't find the tag for an upload today.

We could outright change the name to Kaiman but I thought an alias wouldn't hurt since they are pronounced the same way.

I would support a renaming of the tag as opposed to an alias. Given that caiman is the name of a real animal (probably what the character is named after), even if we already have alligator and crocodile tags, I think it'd be best to not use it unqualified for a specific character.
I can add the qualifier to the caiman alias to make it clearer.
My intention with the request was to rename him regardless though. I thought I typed it like the approved forum #166267. In which case we would end up with caiman_(dorohedoro) as an alias to kaiman_(dorohedoro).
Did I request it incorrectly?

What NWF means is there's a new Rename feature for BURs. See topic #17321. Tags can be renamed without creating an alias or doing a mass update.
