These are aliases from tags used on other boorus, primarily on Sankaku. It's not uncommon for uploaders to mistag posts because they blindly copy and paste tags over from other boorus.

Gardening ambiguous tags is better than removing them automatically. It'd be nice if tags designated as such would be given a special marking in the tag list to indicate that you should check their wiki.

Yes, that’s why I mentioned some of our do-not-use tags. The potential (void) alias would only be used for useless tags that definitely require no gardening.

There's issue #4562 for something similar (using ambtags:>1 for example) but it was kind of shot down by evazion in the discord. Not sure a void tag is a great idea though, it's not like we get those useless tags often.

Yande.re does this. See their list of unused tags. The only problem is that it loses information over what the person was actually trying to tag, which we may not want to lose.

I'm not against it in principle, but I think it's too special purpose to have a tag type or flag just for this. IIRC we used to have an is_ambiguous flag for tags back in Danbooru 1, but we got rid of it in the transition to Danbooru 2 because it wasn't used enough. I'd rather have a more general solution (aka tag-level tagging, being able to add labels to tags).

Bump.

Since creampie is ambiguous, why don't we go with the translated tags?

e.g.

create alias nakadashi -> cum_in_pussy
create alias anal_nakadashi -> cum_in_ass

These are fetched from the tag's other names, written in romaji.

DISCLAIMER: Translated tags can be unreliable in some cases.
