So discussion about Ascension tags aside, I didn't seem to notice any dissent towards fixing the qualifiers. Would it be fine if I went ahead and at least fixed the qualifiers for characters who have no implications attached to them, so that they all have *_(fate) instead of the title they originated from? I think once I get some traction going with the easier qualifiers, then moving on to clean the characters with implications will get a little simpler.

So it's not a problem if I did characters with less than 100 posts or something? I really don't understand how the system works, so I wind up doing things manually.

Small and/or new tags are usually safe to move manually, where the limit goes is up for debate though.

Okay. I'll leave the more populated tags alone for now and focus on those with approximately 150 posts, give or take. I'll have to compile a list of the characters I left alone for further discussion.

Make a BUR please, it's easier for you and everyone who follows.

It would be easier to make a BUR for every Fate character. If it were a minor series, it would be no problem the change it manually, but as Fate is alot bigger, it should be more visible how and why we changed things.

It's precisely because it's a bigger franchise that it'd be difficult to make a BUR for every conceivable character when a manual move is easier for some and a mass update for others. Can you imagine how massive such a BUR would be if I just listed everyone en masse? The trouble is I want to actually parse through all of the chartags and determine who would be suitable for a BUR, and who would be easier for me to move.
I'd be happy to make updates on who I actually moved during a session, but it won't be a BUR until I've done all the manual moving I can.

It makes it easier to log what changes were made, for the future.
Assume noone is suitable for a manual move. Please make a BUR, even for insignificant characters.
By the way, i was planning to make a massive Fate Character Retagging Project mk2 (topic #13728) in the future, but at the moment things are still hazy.

Just look at the Xenoblade BUR as an example. We are changing all the characters in a copyright , not a select few. They should all go in the BUR.

For now, I manually moved the following:
agravain_(fate/grand_order) -> agravain_(fate)
akechi_mitsuhide_(fate/grand_order) -> akechi_mitsuhide_(fate)
alexander_(fate/grand_order) -> alexander_(fate)
anastasia_(fate/grand_order) -> anastasia_(fate)
aphrodite_(fate/grand_order) -> aphrodite_(fate)
asclepius_(fate/grand_order) -> asclepius_(fate)
ashiya_douman_(fate/grand_order) -> ashiya_douman_(fate)
I apologize for all of this fumbling around I'm doing. I really don't understand the system that well, and now I'm suddenly tackling a massive problem that has been neglected for too long. :/

It usually is better to wait and reach a conclusion with others before moving out on your own before an agreement has been reached. Also if you're having problems, feel free to ask for help. We can't really afford to create some mess with a hasty work in a copyright as big as Fate.
