Megane_megane is a relic from an era when it was acceptable to create tags based on Japanese terms like oppai and shimapan for things that aren't specific to Japanese culture. Tags for concepts not originating in Japan should be in English whenever possible, because this is an English-language site and not every user can be expected to know all the memes and phrases specific to anime fandom. Relatedly, megane has already been aliased to glasses.
I've already located a few examples of otherwise well-tagged posts where this tag was omitted, presumably because the taggers had no idea what it was called. This tag is nearly impossible to find if you aren't already familiar with it.
