Hey Guys i would like to do a batch download by tags i checked out the forum and the posts that were made on this topic are pretty old so i wanted to ask if there are any new ways to do this or if a new program came out that makes this easier?

DanbooruDownloader3 should work fine. It was updated 5 months ago, and has been working for 8+ years straight. Once you log in, it is pretty easy to use. I don't know if there is an official program for this, so forgive me if I'm distributing forbidden software.
Is this the thing you were looking for, or are you still looking for a new-and-shiny downloader?
Hydrus Client works well for this. It's basically a locally run booru which automatically imports tags as you download files. Its gallery downloader will download all files from a booru-style site (including Danbooru) with the specified tags and maintain them within its own file structure.
