May wanna include disembodied hands in that.
Edit: Oh, wait, disembodied hands is already aliased to disembodied limb, so if we alias anything it should probably be floating hand and detached hand to disembodied limb

Disembodied hand is already aliased to disembodied limb.
Floating hand, detached hand, and disembodied hands are all tags that do what disembodied limb already covers, so should be merged with/aliased to it.

Do we want to keep disembodied_hand aliased to disembodied_limb though? Feet/legs are limbs too, and as it stands they're just going to be drowned by the fact that the vast majority of pictures in that tag are disembodied hands.
The alias was done in topic #6305, and as with most old aliases they didn't exactly think too much before going through with it.

If there are any disembodied legs/feet on the site, finding them all now seems like it's gonna be a fun adventure. I don't really have an opinion either way, but it's probably fair to separate hands and feet so people can actually find what they're looking for if the latter actually exists to be found.
We do have detached_legs. Also detached_arm and detached_arms.
Thinking about it, we probably want to distinguish the case where the owner of the limbs is in the picture from the case of hands just being there/cross-sectioned into the picture, like is the case for most disembodied_limb -rating:s pictures, where someone is being groped by someone else who's partially out of frame. I'm talking about android posts and pictures like post #2920350.

I agree with calling it disembodied hands and moving any disembodied feet, if they exist, to their own tag.
