Twitter load 4K

Posted under General

What do you mean? Can you post an url example for the 4k version?

In any case, you should just use the tweet link on the upload page ( or on https://danbooru.donmai.us/uploads/batch for multi-image tweets), it'll automatically extract the right picture. No need to manually grab the direct image links.

Just for clarification, the best version of a twitter image has "orig" as final part of the url. Examples:
https://pbs.twimg.com/media/Dz1PNZUWwAEn-1h.png:orig
https://pbs.twimg.com/media/Dz1PNZUWwAEn-1h?format=png&name=orig

It’s weird because when I open the image on Safari, it loses it 4K resolution, I think you can only see/save the 4K version on the Twitter app. The regular version also doesn’t have the orig, it have “large”

Also thanks for the tips

The "large" version is not the original, it's just a large enough picture to be viewable in browser. Make sure to not upload those by accident.

I am on desktop and do not have a "load 4K" option. See reblogger tweet mentioning this new iOS feature.
Clicking and opening image in new tab gives me this: https://pbs.twimg.com/media/ERLLtItWAAEqEjR?format=jpg&name=4096x4096

But yeah, like nonamethanks mentioned, to be sure, you should always just plug in :orig or name=orig.

Oh yeah, when I plug in name=orig it does show the 4K version.
