I was going to create a tag for a character, but the character's name is literally "Love★One" (ラブ★ワン). What's the course of action for character tags when symbols are involved?
For the above and similar I'd just replace the star with an underscore... i.e. "love_one". Unless the symbol is at the end, in which case it's best to just drop it.
If it's more complicated, like their name is only symbols... well that usually requires more creativity. For those, asking in the forum is always a good place to start.
