[REJECTED] Tag implication: moemon -> personification, pokemon_(creature)

Posted under Tags

BUR #1940 has been rejected.

create implication moemon -> personification
create implication moemon -> pokemon_(creature)

Reason: As per the Danbooru definition, moemon posts have a Pokémon personification together with the creature itself. Therefore these posts should always be tagged personification and pokemon_(creature) too.

(A comment: To be fair, I found a few images tagged moemon like post #480789 and post #358297 that had only the personification, with no creature to be found. But personification is enough for that, so I removed the moemon tag from these few posts.)

EDIT: The bulk update request #1940 (forum #154200) has been rejected by @Danielx21.

In hindsight, I think the tag moemon is a bad idea to begin with since it's just a small subset of personifications for a specific personification rather than covering more mons from copyrights like Youkai Watch. Maybe we could expand the coverage of the tag to do that but that could also be a bad idea.

Maybe we could rename moemon to pokemon and personification.

If we want to apply it to other copyrights, it could be creature and personification.

This would be in line with other "X and Y" tags: husband and wife, brother and sister, angel and devil, teacher and student etc.

It doesn't have to be exactly those names, though they seem fine to me. At least they have the benefit of meaning exactly what they say on the tin.

Our current tag moemon requires reading the wiki to be fully understood. Basically the rest of the internet would use that word to refer to the hacked Pokémon game called Moemon, but here we have an alternate definition. Plus the word "moemon" could be understood as something "moe". It isn't exactly intuitive that we use it to refer to a Pokémon and its personification.
