remove alias selfie -> self_shot
A character may be shown taking a selfie where the photograph is not the image itself, such as in post #3328694.

The self shot wiki says that it can be used to characters doing that, like post #3325493, post #3315751 and post #3175066...
I get where you're coming from, and I agree that there's a subtle distinction, but realistically, removing the alias can only lead to a situation where taggers use the two tags interchangeably regardless of their definition. Neither the term "self shot" nor "selfie" expresses in any way that "this tag is solely for depictions of the selfie that was taken" so I don't see how you plan on convincing anyone to use the tags differently, especially considering this alias is nearly five years old. You know as well as I do that very few users ever actually consult the wiki for tag usage, let alone the forum.
For the most part you can use self_shot phone and self_shot -phone (or self_shot reaching_out) to distinguish between a character taking a selfie and the image itself being the selfie.
