I just have a couple questions for consistency right now:
- Should we go with localized names or Japanese names? This post for example tags the main character, his sister, and the fairy as Euden (localized), Xethia (Japanese), and Nhaam (Japanese) respectively. Elphyllis, Clau, and Mumu seem to be popular as well, and all three are using their Japanese names. Should we use Euden's Japanese name, or switch the other characters to their localized names of Zethia, Notte, Elisanne, Cleo, and Mym?
- If we're using the original Japanese names, then where can we find the official romanizations of these names? Xethia and Nhaam in particular interest me since those would typically be romanized as Zeshia and Naamu. I can only assume there's an official romanization out there, which would be useful for tagging Euden (ユーディル) and Ranzal (ランザーヴ). If there isn't an official romanization, then I think it might be better to change the Xethia, Nhaam, Clau, and Elphyllis tags to Zeshia, Naamu, Kurau, and Erufirisu instead. Even if Erufirisu isn't elegant, it's following the romanization rules set by Danbooru. Most non-main characters shouldn't have this localization problem, and this shouldn't matter too much anyways because tag aliasing, but still.
- Lily, a character from Cygames's Rage of Bahamut, also appears in this game. She has a tag here as lily_(granblue_fantasy), but the question has been asked if she should be given the tag lily_(dragalia_lost) instead since they're arguably different characters. I think they're quite clearly the same character that's just being reused in a different setting, but I thought I should still ask.
- As an extreme opposite of the previous question, a number of character designs (and most if not all dragons) in Dragalia Lost are straight from one of Cygames's previous games, Knights of Glory. Thus, would it be necessary to tag knights_of_glory on these characters? While on this topic, will this be necessary for Granblue Fantasy's Kengou and Runeslayer (which might need to be renamed mahousenshi_(granblue_fantasy) for consistency) classes as well, just like how it seems to apply to The Glory and Kuronekodoushi? I'm against this idea because it'll be a pain to manage and it's neither obvious nor easy to research who's based on a KoG class (plus there are a number of Granblue Fantasy characters that should be tagged as Rage of Bahamut characters instead), but, once again, I thought I should ask.
