height exceeds limit

Fisheye placebo (pool #10558) posted for the first time in 3 years. Only issue is, the hight limits have been changed since it last posted so I can't upload a 800x21916 anymore (it's not quite that tall this time). Is there a way around that, or is two images at 10753px and 9912px the only way?

Opened issue #3570. There's no intentional limit on the dimensions of an upload, but apparently the image resizing library (ImageMagick) has some default limit on the size of images it can handle, which must have changed at some point.

Currently there's no way to bypass this, you'll have to upload smaller images.

@SciFi: this was fixed. These are the new limits:

• Max width: 40000px
• Max height: 40000px
• Max resolution (width * height): 441 megapixels (equivalent to a 21000x21000 image)
