あけおめ (and similar) are in the "other names" section for happy new year, and it is basically a way of saying happy new year in Japanese.

The above won't work as it creates a transitive relationship.

Currently akeome implicates new_year, but happy_new_year also implicates new_year.

With the above, you'd end up with the following:

1. akeome -> happy_new_year -> new_year
2. akeome -> new_year

#2 is the transitive relationship. You'd have to remove that before adding the above.

Just a note to Admins if/when approving this, the BUR in forum #141286 needs to be run before the tag implication in forum #141270.

Having said that, I'm not sure how I feel about this one. For myself, I always thought Happy New year was for the English greeting, but apparently the wiki says it's for any language so I'm kind of ambivalent.
