Finding a users Favourites via API

I'd like to use the API to retrieve a list of a user's favourite posts, in much the same way that searching "fav:username" might.

After a quick look through the API help page it doesn't look like this is currently possible. Does anyone more familiar with the API know for sure?

Searching for favorites is just like searching for any other tag in the /posts.json endpoint.

Ah! That makes sense. Looks like I was trying to use search[tags] (or something similar), with square brackets.
