Hello.
Wated to ask what we should do about the splatoon tag because it got a sequel, splatoon_2 that currently implies Splatoon.
Now it is done with other series, too:
How about creating a splatoon_(series) tag? It is obvious that Splatoon 3 will come eventually and right now, there isn't a seperation in tags between Splatoon 1 and 2 because Splatoon 2 implies Splatoo.
The tag would be splatoon_1, since the sequel uses Arabic numerals instead of Roman. Base splatoon would then be the umbrella.

I have quickly created a wiki page for it.
As for tagging, I want ahead and tagged every image before mid January with splatoon 1 because Splatoon 2 wasn't known before.
But for identifying what post should be tagged with which post, I suggest to read the wiki and which characters are appearing where and in what costumes and in what pairings; I think it is inevitable to know something about this copyright. Otherwise, I think one is fine with just tagging Splatoon if you can't determine the installment, because certain weapons and outfits appear in both games.
If there is something to adjust, then it should get mentioned here^^.

I gave a look and updated all of the relevant wikis.
Though I wonder should characters/weapons common to both series be in the series wiki, or in the wiki of the installment that they were first introduced...?
Also, currently Splatoon 1 has no translated tags, with them being on the series wiki instead. Should they be moved, or should they stay on the installment...? One problem with the former is that many posts on Pixiv have both the Splatoon and the Splatoon 2 tag, with really no way of indicating Splatoon 1.

I guess that is ok.
Most times, the only really relevant characters are the Squid sister pairing and Agent No. 3.
Otherwise, I think it's ok to just move on because the Inklings haven't reall changed.
