I bookmarked image urls a couple of years ago (urls with hex id and .jpg as opposed to post id, e.g. http://danbooru.donmai.us/data/f8e71f0df27e7b39eb51423ee8abc64c.png) and I've only now discovered that they've all been changed to the same style as yande.re, and none of them work. Is there any way in which i can obtain the new url using the old url?

post #1383133 try md5:f8e71f0df27e7b39eb51423ee8abc64c use md5:$hash_id in the search box where $hash_id is the md5 hash in your bookmarked before the filename type.
If you're talking about the tags in the URL (https://danbooru.donmai.us/data/__kozakai_aya_hatsuyuki_sakura_drawn_by_toranosuke__f8e71f0df27e7b39eb51423ee8abc64c.png), you can just strip those out. Turn on the "Disable tagged filenames" account setting to disable them.
If it still doesn't work, change it to this: https://danbooru.donmai.us/cached/data/f8e71f0df27e7b39eb51423ee8abc64c.png. Image URLs are gradually migrating to /cached/ and the old ones will stop working. It's better to bookmark the post rather than the image itself for this reason.
