How to upload animations

I found something on pixiv that I want to upload, but I'm unable to. Clicking it merely pauses the animation, not allowing me to save it so I can upload it here.

I am on an iPad.

Is there any way I can solve this problem?

Animation in question-

You generally shouldn't save anything for uploading, even when dealing with simple images - just put the URL in the source field. For major sites like pixiv or deviantart, you don't even need to put direct image URL in, work page link (like the one you specified) will do. This way danbooru will sometimes be able to pull the biggest available resolution you might have missed, source field will be filled automatically, you can search for artists etc. It's even better if you use bookmarklet which is linked on the upload page, but I'm not sure whether it can properly work on iPad software. It should work, though.

One exception to this that I've discovered recently is Tinami. The link always 403's since the headers have to be modified to download the images (IQDB and SauceNAO also have this issue). Specifically, the Referer field needs to be set.

'Referer':'http://www.tinami.com/'

So whenever I upload from Tinami, I have to download the image, upload it from disk, then set the source and comment fields manually once the image gets uploaded.
