Looks like this search twitter_sample -parent:none -status:deleted shows good results, since there are mostly posts that already have a parent version, but are also a sample.

Just to follow up on this, yes -- but there are some where the Twitter original is higher resolution than the parent, and might be of interest to someone. But it is a good catch.
