That said, I don’t think there can be an absolute reference for what constitutes a good/high score. It very much depends on the content. Popular copyrights receive higher scores because more users view those posts. Anything with nudity receives a higher score, even if it’s bad (after all, Sex Sells). Comics often stay at a score of 0 because users rarely vote on individual pages.
Post scores can only help you find (probably) better posts in a particular search. For example, if you want to view original posts, you can use original order:score to view the best original posts.
